Mara Castaneda is an enthusiastic member of the community. A native of Orange County, she grew up learning the value of commitment. With her grandparents, the Heinz family being one of the original orange ranchers of Orange County, the seeds were planted, and the importance of promoting a positive community and economic growth had begun.
A Fashion Institute Graduate, working 30 years in the fashion industry as a senior designer for some of the top industry brands, Mara developed a keen eye for color and space. Traveling internationally, she interfaced with many cultures, and developed a passion for architecture design and the vast array of home decor, inspiring her to work on various home improvement projects. She partnered in a cause close to her heart, creating a beautifully improved home for low income independent seniors, the model created a comfortable home life for the seniors, protecting them from being institutionalized and ultimately with more homes could save the state millions of dollars.
She has now taken her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for homes to the world of Real Estate, leveraging her experience as a fashion designer and home decorator to assist clients in focusing on creative ways to market their home as well as envisioning a space with their own tastes for their future home.
Mara enjoys spending precious time with family and friends’ outdoors, cooking, gardening and traveling. To her friends and family she is fun to be around, trustworthy, loyal and a go-to for good judgment and advice.
